On May 23 at around 4 AM. I had an accident. I was in Illinois to film for a movie as an actress. After a beautiful night shoot I was on my way taken by car to the Airbnb. I don’t remember what happened and how it happened. I just remember I open my eyes and I didn’t feel my body. I was taken to Iowa to the wonderful hospital where skilled and kind neurosurgeons saved me. I am recovering slowly the use of my legs and my arms and hands. I am still in Iowa city at the hospital. Looking forward next week to go back home in New York City if all goes well. Unfortunately, the production insurance denied the case and refused to pay any bill. With the loss of work, with an eventual very high bill to pay, I decided to start a medical fundraiser. I’m trying to keep as calm and positive as I can and at the same time I’m trying to get healthy and take care of my self, pay my bills and keep a roof of my head. In New York City, I will go to intensive sessions of PT and OT.
